Maru Jota is an Argentine singer, songwriter and guitarist, endowed with a beautiful voice and charisma.
She shared the stage with Li Saumet (Bomba Estereo), Erlend Øye (Kings of Convenience, Lucky Salvadori (Manu Chao), Carlos Sadness, Silvina Moreno, Nico Junca (Monsieur Periné), La Payara. She played her songs in London (Camden Town, Brixton , Soho, Shepherd's Bush, Dalston), Colombia, Costa Rica, Canary Islands (Fuerteventura), El Calafate (Patagonia Argentina) and her hometown: Buenos Aires.
Her debut album "Literal" is an independent production that fuses reggae-jazz with Latin pop, produced by Javier Zacharías. Recorded by the renowned Sergio Verdinelli (Fito Paez, Spinetta), Andrés Rotmistrovsky, the Los Pericos wind section, Camila Buch, Nano Cantarini, among others.
